Privacy Policy
for the “HelloDistiller” application

1. General Provisions
This Privacy Policy describes the procedure for processing and protecting information that may be obtained when using the “HelloDistiller” application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”).
By using the Application, you accept the terms of this Policy.
2. What Data the Application Collects
The Application does not collect, process or transmit any personal data of users, including:
— first name, last name, patronymic;
— email address;
— phone number;
— postal or physical address;
— bank card details or payment information;
— location data;
— any other information that could identify the user as a natural person.
3. Local File Storage
The Application may store files locally on the user's Android device or in cloud storage at the address specified by the user. This happens only in the following cases and solely at the user's initiative:
Process Log
is saved only when the “Save process log” setting is enabled, and only to the directory specified by the user (or to the application's default folder). Logs are saved to files matching the mask HelloDistLog-*.txt. These files are not automatically sent to anyone and are not transmitted to servers. The user may manually send them by email or convert them to ODF format for opening in the appropriate application.
Setting Profiles
are exported to the same folder only when the user executes the command OPTIONS → SAVE. Profile files are saved with the mask HelloDistillerSave*.txt.
The Application does not read or open any other files except:
— HelloDistillerSave*.txt files – and only when the user executes the command OPTIONS → READ to import setting profiles.
The Application does not create, modify or delete any other files.
4. Data Transfer
Data transmission and reception by the Application are performed exclusively via IP addresses and ports specified by the user in the settings, or via a Bluetooth connection, also configured by the user. The Application does not independently initiate the transfer of data to any external resources without explicit user instruction.
5. Security
Since the Application does not collect personal data and does not transmit it externally, there are no risks associated with the leakage of personal data. All locally stored files are under the user's control. The user is responsible for the security of their device and access to it by third parties.
6. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Application may update this Policy from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes by posting a new version of the document in the Application or on its distribution page. Continued use of the Application after changes means acceptance of the updated Policy.
